Second Friday here

Rainy Day = Progress

Yesterday I ran around town doing various things like opening a bank account, finding the Dollar Store and seeing which roads lead to which roads.

Today it was a constant gentle rain which made me stay inside and work on emptying boxes. I made a lot of progress.

The Fence is Up!

We did a lot of work on Saturday to make this happen. Thankfully we had some help!! Monica and I layed out the landscape ties to mark off the space and then 2 workmen stretched and nailed the fencing wire all around. And while they were doing that, we chopped down all the little trees and brush using a Sawzall. The work guy's 2 little kids helped us clear the area and drag away all the cut down stuff so that was extra GREAT! Then we raked it up and stuck rocks in the little open spaces and TA DA!! a great yard for the 2 little dogs to run around in and have fun!!!

Good Energy

Friday was Work Outside Day!!!

Yesterday I stayed inside and worked on unpacking boxes. So today was the day to work outside! Here's what I did:

Tomorrow we are putting up a small fence for Monica's dogs. The weather here is delightful!! That cold front has made good fence building weather!

A Good First Day

Once we were there, the ceiling was the perfect place for everyone to hide!!!

Once the cats saw and smelled my furniture and stuff they seemed to relax a little and come out of their hiding places.

Now I got to go through all these boxes and re-assemble a comfortable living space.


I made a small start yesterday.
and got everything in place in my bedroom.

and I got an interview at 7 a.m. tomorrow morning at a law office. So I guess we'll see what happens next!
